Samhain, All Hallow's Eve, Halloween, One and the same in name!

Samhain, All Hallow's Eve, Halloween
LOL!

Have you ever noticed it really depends on what title you use to address anything concerning one of the most celebrated holidays in America,  'Halloween'. If you just refer to the October holiday as Halloween, the Christians do not seem to oppose it so readily. Yet if you use it's proper, and actual REAL title for the holiday, Samhain or All Hallow's Eve, it seems the Christians come from out of the corners and all directions just to bash the one using these titles describing the October holiday and those celebrating it as pagans, sinners, satanic cultist, devil worshippers, etc. Yet they themselves, Christians, have celebrated this same holiday since the United States started growing as just a few isolated colonies.

Also, have you ever wondered why Christians FEAR those of us who worship differently than they do? The fear of Wicca is still as fresh today as it was during the Salem Witch Trials. I bet most of those who point fingers and screech, WITCH, DEVIL WORSHIPPER, are blindly following a human who they themselves proclaim to be the VOICE OF GOD, and yet they reach their little greedy hands out at each of their worship services demanding money in God's name.....shouldn't they be delivering their Words of God free? Or are they seeking reimbursement for their services due to the fact that God only spoke to them for a fee? Hmmmm. Makes one wonder doesn't it?

Have you ever heard of a war started by Wiccans? Have you ever seen Wiccans punish people because they didn't follow the Wiccan faith and only the Wiccan faith?  Or see Wiccans take food to starving third world countries, supposedly to freely feed those starving souls, but demand they dress as the Wiccans, or to change their religion to Wicca in order to receive the FREE food? Do you see Wiccans getting compensation for their worship services? Have Wiccans build their leaders large homes to help compensate them for being their leaders? Or have you seen Wiccans fight for land in the name of a God who basically already owns the land since He was the One who created it, or use slave labor to build temples, or profit monetarily while supposedly delivering God's Words, which God gives freely to all without having to be ordained, certified, etc.

Hmmm ! Makes you wonder once again about the Christians who point their fingers while screeching, 'Witch', Satan Worshipper', etc. Maybe the guilty dog doth bark the loudest. Or are they trying to hide their own sins by casting shadow and doubt on all others. Did not the Christian God give His Words, The Bible, as guidelines to be lived by, not to take literal and for each of His loyal followers to use to lead them down their own paths to Him. Not for all to follow the same paths.  Did not the Christian God tear down a tower built by King Babel who was trying to reach Heaven without entering Heaven as God set forth in His Laws? And this same action by God, caused all men to look differently, speak differently, dress differently, and yes even worship differently? That is where we get today's phrase, 'speaking in babel' or 'babbling' when someone speaks to us in an incoherent way for us to understand, even if it is just a different language!

So why do Christians feel THEY can dictate to the rest of the world on how to worship, how to celebrate holidays, etc. I don't know about you, but I honestly can't say, even after reading their Holy Book the Bible, that I have found they have the corner market on CONTROLLING the rest of the world. If they were to actually read for themselves and research for themselves, instead of thinking attending an hour or less of worship service, having a man/woman read from their Bible, and explain their own interpretation of what their followers should accept as Word, they would be amazed in finding that all of today's worship practices have actually derived from the Pegan/Wicca faith of the past. The modern religions have been adapted to the needs of the people as time has progressed and lifestyles have changed.

Look at how the alters are set out for communion, etc. you will find that the alters are actually set as their pagan ancestors had. Yet due to the fact in modern time those alters have been long forgotten. So would one surmise that today's alters are set secretly to worship Satan? No? So why do Christians so readily want to crush any religious practice that does not follow their own, yet they use past pagan traditions without really thinking about it just because they themselves approve it for their use, yet want to condemn others who use the same alter settings as satanic cults? Small minded, closed minds, whatever their excuse is, it is still not right, and the only right way.

So while those small, closed minded Christians go 'Trick-or-Treating', they should remember. No matter how they are dressing themselves and/or their children, they too are celebrating a very old, very long, tradition of the pagans. So welcome to our side Christians. Doth thou be worshipping Satin that night? Well neither are we.....so remember, your own God has stated in His Laws:

In its proper context:
Matt 7
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
The above verses are addressed to a hypocrite who went around judging people of doing evil when he was doing the same things. Just look at verse 3 and 4. Do not judge another person before judging yourself. A good example would be a bank robber. A person who robs banks for a living should not go around judging other people who robs banks. How about this real-time example. Remember the TV evangelist who judged another TV evangelist for sleeping with another women then paying her hush money. The first evangelist was seeing prostitutes while he was judging the other TV evangelist! Only a hypocrite would judge another person while he is guilty of doing the same thing! This is why the above verses first tell a person to judge themselves. Once that is done, one can judge and help others. In its proper context Matt 7:1 does not say it is wrong to judge. Instead it is saying to first judge yourself!

So now let us go out and enjoy our Samhain, All Hallow's Eve, as it was intended.....(all religious backgrounds welcome).....and honoring our dead. Just remember Nov.1 is All Saint's Eve.....we also welcome all religious backgrounds to help us honor the Saint's as well. For even Christians have Saints they honor! LOL!

Now those who wish to cast the first stones, get your panties out of a wad, and enjoy life! That is what is is all about. We were all given the gifts of life....so don't waste it trying to ride with a stick up your butts....at least we Wiccans have enough common sense to refer to ours as a broom and don't try to quench our butt cheeks tightly trying to hide them! LOL!

And for those who would readily and anxiously join a modern day 'WITCH TRIAL' in the name of your God while proclaiming your Christianity as your shield.......the following Declaration of Regret from the Salem Jurors who too were closed minded, and ignorant, the same qualities possessed by those today who wish to cast stones first, ask questions later. The Declaration of Regret is an actually real historical document kept in the archives in Salem, Massachusetts.

Declaration of Regret - Salem Jurors

We whose names are underwritten, being in the year 1692 called to serve as jurors in court at Salem, on trial of many who were by some suspected guilty of doing acts of witchcraft upon the bodies of sundry persons, we confess that we ourselves were not capable to understand, nor able to withstand, the mysterious delusions of the powers of darkness and Prince of the air, but were, for want of knowledge in ourselves and better information from others, prevailed with to take with such evidence against the accused, as, on further consideration and better information, we justly fear was insufficient for the touching the lives of any (Deut. xvii) whereby we fear we have been instrumental, with others, though ignorantly and unwittingly, to bring upon ourselves and this people of the Lord the guilt of innocent blood; which sin the Lord saith in Scripture he would not pardon (2 Kings xxiv.4) - that is, we suppose, in regard to his temporal judgments. We do therefore hereby signify to all in general, and to the surviving sufferers in special, our deep sense of, and sorrow for, our errors in acting on such evidence to the condemning of any person; and do hereby declare, that we justly fear that we were sadly deluded and mistaken - for which we are much disquieted and distressed in our minds, and do therefore humbly beg forgiveness, first of God, for Christ's sake, for this our error, and pray that God would impute the guilt of it to ourselves nor others, and we also pray that we may be considered candidly and aright by the living sufferers, as being then under a strong and general delusion, utterly unacquainted with, and not experienced in, matters of that nature.
We do hereby ask forgiveness of you all, whom we have justly offended, and do declare, according to our present minds, we would none of us do such things again, on such grounds, for the whole world - praying you to accept of this in way of satisfaction for our offense, and that you would bless the inheritance of the Lord, that he may be entreated for the land.
